IB officer to be special secretary for internal security

New Delhi, Jan 1 (IANS) The central government Thursday approved the appointment of Ashok Prasad, presently the special director of the Intelligence Bureau, as special secretary for internal security under the home ministry.

His appointment would be effective from the date of his joining the post and up to the date of his superannuation - Jan 31, 2016 - or until further orders, whichever is earlier, an official release said.
