Chennai, Feb 10 (IANS) In just eight months after the Bharatiya Janata Party(BJP) government came to power at the centre, the people have rejected it, MDMK general secretary Vaiko said Tuesday.
In a statement, Vaiko said people of Delhi have proved that India is one of the best democratic nations in the world and the Delhi poll results reflect the people's anger against the central government headed by BJP.
It is a Himalayan victory in Delhi for the Aam Aadmi Party, Vaiko said.
"The people have totally rejected the BJP government that acted as an agent for multinational companies in just eight months," Vaiko said.
Vaiko, a former ally of BJP, said Delhi people swept away the national party with the broom (AAP's poll symbol) and dumped it in a dustbin.
