Delhi Election 2025 Voting: These leaders including President Murmu, LG Saxena, and Rahul cast their votes

Voting is being held at all polling stations for Delhi Vidhan Sabha Chunav 2025 from the scheduled time of 7 am on Wednesday. Voters are also very enthusiastic. In many places, voters lined up outside the polling booths even before 7 am.

 

Big leaders arriving to vote.

 

Prominent big leaders are exercising their franchise in the Delhi elections. Many leaders including President Draupadi Murmu, Delhi Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena, Congress MP Rahul Gandhi and Delhi Chief Minister Atishi reached the polling booth and cast their votes. During this, the leaders have also appealed to the people to vote.

 

President Draupadi Murmu cast her vote at Dr. Rajendra Prasad Kendriya Vidyalaya in New Delhi for Delhi Assembly Election 2025. Long queues are being seen at many polling booths in the capital since morning.

Delhi Chief Minister Atish cast her vote. During this, he said that Delhi Police is working for BJP, but in democracy, the public has the last say. BJP workers are doing hooliganism. The people of Delhi are with those who work. I appeal to the people of Delhi to vote for truth and vote for goodness.

After voting, the Union Minister said that everyone should participate in the festival of democracy and also motivate their family and relatives to vote.

Lines being formed in Muslim-dominated areas

 

Especially in Muslim-dominated areas, people are seen participating in voting in large numbers. Voting process is going on at 13766 polling booths set up at 2696 places in Delhi. There is no complaint of any fault in any polling station so far and no incident has been reported from anywhere so far.

 

Voting is being held amid tight security.

 

The voting process is going on peacefully. A large number of security forces have been deployed. Delhi's Chief Executive Officer R Alice Vaz cast her vote by reaching the polling station set up at the College of Art on Tilak Marg and appealed to the people of Delhi to reach the polling station in large numbers and vote.

 

The fate of 699 candidates will be decided.

 

There are 1 crore 56 lakh 14 thousand voters in Delhi. Voters who have reached the polling station and are standing in the queue till 6:00 pm will be able to vote.
