Border dispute going on in India and Nepal
Relations between India and Nepal are strained due to the border dispute. On May 8, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh inaugurated the road from Lipulekh to Dharachula. Nepal then protested, stating Lipulekh as its part. On 18 May, Nepal released a new map. In this, three areas of India called Lipulekh, Limpiyadhura, and Kalapani as their share.
Nepal is going to include the new map in its constitution. On the other hand, India has made it clear that Nepal's claim is not based on historical evidence.
