At the same time, despite a decrease of 11% in new cases in Kerala, it has recorded the highest number of deaths in the country. Kerala is also number one in terms of new infections.

In Thursday's figures, the highest number of cases in the country are coming from Kerala. 3661 new cases were registered in a day. On Thursday, 16 people died due to infection here. With this, the death toll in the state since the beginning of the epidemic has crossed 70 thousand.

There are 5 states in the country from where the maximum number of cases are coming. These include Kerala, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, West Bengal, and Karnataka. In West Bengal, there has been a 23% increase in the number of newly infected people compared to the previous day. In the last 24 hours, 2 people have died in Maharashtra. On Wednesday, 3 infected people died in the state. In the statistics of deaths from the initial phase of Corona till now, Maharashtra is leading. In Maharashtra, more than 1 lakh 47 thousand patients have died.
