Nawanshahar is the first hotspot of Punjab. So far 85 cases have been confirmed here.

So far, RT-PCR test of 20,000 people has been done. Labs are being set up in Punjab for further testing. Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh has set a target of 6,000 tests a day.
