According to the state health department, out of 4000 pilgrims who returned from Hazur Sahib Gurdwara in Nanded, Maharashtra, 609 people have been confirmed corona infection so far. This number is 55 percent of the total infected. According to the information received, 12 of the infected found from Sunday morning to 8 am are from Nawanshahr. Nawanshahar is the first hotspot of Punjab. So far 85 cases have been confirmed here.

So far, RT-PCR test of 20,000 people has been done. Labs are being set up in Punjab for further testing. Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh has set a target of 6,000 tests a day.
Patients will have plasma therapy
The Punjab government on Sunday said that it has received the approval of the Indian Council of Medical Sciences (ICMR) for diagnostic tests of plasma therapy (Plasma Therapy) on Covid-19 patients.
