Rajasthan Royals and Delhi Capitals will try to forget their defeat in the last match and make a comeback. While Rajasthan has shown a mixed performance so far, this was Delhi's first defeat of the season. After winning four consecutive matches, the Delhi team led by Akshar Patel was defeated by Mumbai Indians at the Arun Jaitley Stadium on Sunday. After this defeat, Delhi slipped from the top position to second place.

Bowlers were expensive against RCB.

Rajasthan Royals had to face defeat against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in the match played in Jaipur. Rajasthan batted slowly in this match and except for Yashasvi Jaiswal, no other batsman could play a big innings. At the same time, the performance of the bowlers was also disappointing and RCB batsmen, especially Phil Salt, scored a lot of runs against Jofra Archer and other bowlers.

Karun shone as an impact player.

Delhi's Karun Nair scored 89 runs in 40 balls while making his debut against Mumbai Indians. He came in as an impact player in that match and with the help of his fast innings, at one time Delhi's score was 119 runs for one wicket in the 11th over, but the team then lost the last nine wickets within 74 runs. Three of its batsmen were run out on the last three balls of the 19th over and it had to face defeat by 12 runs. After Karun Nair's excellent innings, it will be interesting to see whether Delhi will give him a chance in the playing-11 or if he will be used as an impact player only.

The role of spinners will be important.

Spinners can once again prove to be the key to success for Delhi. Despite the defeat in the last match, Kuldeep Yadav and 20-year-old Vipraaj Nigam performed brilliantly. However, Akshar has not been able to impress that much, and even after bowling 14 overs in six matches, he has not got a wicket. Apart from this, he has given runs at the rate of more than 10 per over.
