Delhi Crackers Ban: The Delhi government has made a big decision to curb the increasing air pollution in winter. Under this action plan, the Delhi government has banned the manufacturing, sale, storage, and use of firecrackers in the national capital.
According to news agency PTI, there will be a ban on bursting of firecrackers on Diwali this year also in the national capital Delhi. Delhi government has taken this decision on Monday given air pollution.
Let us tell you that this ban will not only be on the burning of firecrackers but also on their manufacturing and sale. That is, the ban on manufacturing, sale, and use of firecrackers in the border area of Delhi will continue as before. Action will be taken as per rules against those who do this despite the ban.
Environment Minister Gopal Rai issued instructions
Delhi Environment Minister Gopal Rai has issued instructions in this regard. The Environment Minister said that the government has decided to ban the production, storage, sale (including online sales), and bursting of firecrackers. Instructions have been issued to Delhi Police not to allow a license for this.
Environment Department sent the file to the Chief Minister, approval will also be taken from the LG
Even before the onset of winter, it has been announced to continue the ban on firecrackers in Delhi. Its file has been sent to the Chief Minister by the Environment Department of Delhi. After the Chief Minister, the file will also be sent to the LG for approval. Notification will be issued after approval from LG. The ban will continue from the date of notification till the new year.
