People are suffering due to rising fuel prices in Pakistan. An employee of the Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has sought permission to keep a donkey cart after the price of petrochemicals rose wildly. In a letter sent to the Director-General of the Authority, Raja Asif Iqbal said that inflation has broken the back of not only the poor but also the middle class. He has sought permission to bring a donkey car to the CAA parking lot. It is to be known that a week later, on Friday, the government hiked fuel prices again.

Raja Asif Iqbal sought permission from the Director-General of the Civil Aviation Authority to bring a donkey-cart into the CAA parking lot. He said that due to inflation, the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has closed the transport facility. The rising prices of petrol have made it impossible to use private transport. Therefore it is a humble request that I will be permitted to bring my donkey cart to the airport.
Authority told publicity stunt
However, CAA (Civil Aviation Authority, CAA) spokesperson Saifullah Khan said that fuel allowance is given to every member of the staff. Pick and drop service is provided to the employees. Metro bus service is also available for the staff at the airport. This application is nothing more than a publicity stunt. At the same time, the Finance Minister said that he cannot allow the country to go bankrupt. The government was suffering a lot due to the rise in international prices.
Petition in Lahore High Court
A person has filed a petition in the Lahore High Court against the price hike of petroleum products. Advocate Azhar Siddiqui has said in the petition that due to an increase in the prices of petroleum products, inflation will increase further.
Angry Pakistanis attack petrol pump
According to the news agency ANI, demonstrations have started in Pakistan against the rise in the prices of petrochemicals. Angry people attacked a petrol pump near the old vegetable market in Karachi's Central district. People vandalized the petrol pump by pelting stones. There were also demonstrations at Nagan Chowringhee. Demonstrations have also been held in Larkana against the petrol price hike. The government led by Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif had recently increased the prices of petroleum products.
Expressed anger by burning tires
According to ARY News, angry people showed their anger by burning tires at Jinnah Bagh Chowk in Larkana. Following the demand of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), the government has abolished fuel subsidies, due to which the price of petrol has increased by Rs 30. Shehbaz blamed former Prime Minister Imran Khan and said that the tough decision to increase fuel prices was taken with a full heart because of the previous government.
