The country remains under lockdown conditions during the tragedy of Corona. Common people are in their home and the only way to talk to people is by phone and social media. At a time when the entire country is cutting the lockdown period by talking to its forgotten friends, PM Narendra Modi (PM NARENDRA MODI) himself has been busy talking to his old friends continuously for the past few days. The PM has recently interacted with his old colleagues of the Jan Sangh with whom he started his political journey.

Senior Uttarakhand BJP leader Mohan Lal Bauthiyal was not convinced when he got a call from the Prime Minister's Office (CALL FROM PRIME MINISTER) that Prime Minister Narendra Modi wanted to talk to him. Bauthiyal (76) received a call at 8.26 am on Wednesday when he was on his way to his wheat fields in ancestral village Etah in Dugadda block of Pauri district in Uttarakhand. Within seconds of receiving a call from the Prime Minister's Office, he was shocked to hear the voice of the Prime Minister (PRIME MINISTER OF INDIA) from the other side, when the Prime Minister asked him how it was going. Modi talked to his old partner for about three minutes.

They talked about how they met in 1998 at the BJP State Working Committee meeting in Badrinath and then in 2014 at an election meeting in Srinagar (Garhwal), Uttarakhand. Modi told Bauthiyal that he has decided to talk to his old comrades of the Jana Sangh in this time of crisis in the country and is talking to them. Bauthiyal joined the Jansangh in 1960. He then joined the Janata Party in 1970 and the BJP in 1980. After becoming a separate Uttarakhand state from Uttar Pradesh, Bauthial held many important positions in the party.

Talk to 106-year-old MLA in Kushinagar

Apart from Bauthiyal, the PM had recently called up several other BJP leaders and took their stand. Earlier on Wednesday, PM also spoke to former MLA Shri Narayan alias Bhulai Bhai, who lives in UP's Kushinagar (KUSHINAGAR) district. 106-year-old Shri Narayan became emotional after talking to the PM. In this conversation, the Prime Minister told him that he had called him after so many days to seek blessings.

'God bless you'

The Prime Minister further said, 'Just felt like if you have seen the centenary then take your blessings in the time of crisis.' To this, the legislator replied, 'God bless you. As long as you are healthy, then you should lead the country. Responding to this, the Prime Minister said, "What you have learned from the people, that is useful for the country is the only thing." The PM talked to the former MLA for about 2 minutes and then hung up the phone asking his entire family to bow down.

Thanks to 99 year old MLA on donation

The PM also thanked former MLA Ratnabhai Thummar from his home state of Gujarat (GUJARAT CORONAVIRUS CASES) on Wednesday. Ratnabhai Thummar is the same person who donated an amount of 51 thousand rupees to the PM Cares Fund. On 17 April, 99-year-old Ratnabhai Thummar himself handed over this amount to the DM by visiting the District Collector Office of Junagadh. After knowing this amount of donation, PM called Ratnabhai Thummar and thanked himself for it.
