The bloody war between Hamas and Israel continues for the 12th day. The beginning of the 12th day could prove fatal for Israel. A rocket air attack on a government hospital in Gaza in the early morning caused huge damage. More than 500 innocent people lost their lives and hundreds were injured in this air attack.

 

Israel is being held responsible for this air attack, but Israel is denying this. Israel has blamed the terrorist organization Islamic Jihad for this. In such a situation, the question arises who is the third player in this war between Hamas and Israel?

 

Israel issued a statement saying that Hamsa wanted to hold Israel responsible for the massacre in the hospital, but the attack on Baptist Arab National Hospital was carried out by Islamic Jihad. They say that this attack took place due to the failed missile test of Islamic Jihad.

 

What is Islamic Jihad? (What is Islamic Jihad?)

Islamic Jihad is also an organization of radicals fighting against Israel. It is also known as the 'Palestinian Islamic Organization'. This is the second largest terrorist organization in Gaza, whose fighters are armed with weapons. These were prepared against Israel in 1979. In its early days, it was a group of Palestinian students, specifically designed to establish a Palestinian state in Gaza and the areas illegally occupied by Israel.

 

Hamas and Islamic organizations joined hands

Hamas and Islamic Jihad reportedly jointly conduct military activities in Gaza, but it sometimes disagrees with Hamas's strategies to confront Israel. However, some reports say that many times Hamas has put pressure on the Islamic organization not to attack Israel and in those circumstances, distance had come between the two. In such a situation, Hamas had to separate and Islamic Jihad attacked Israel.

 

Iran funds

The training, funds, and all the latest weapons of this organization are provided by Iran only. Along with Israel, America has also declared Islamic Jihad as a terrorist organization. Apart from this, according to a report on the US government website, it also gets full support from Syria and Lebanese Hezbollah.

 

It maintains its presence in Syria, Lebanon, Gaza Strip, and Israel and is headquartered in Tehran, the capital of Iran. About one thousand members are active in it at a time.

 

Many attacks on Israel

Till now, despite separating from Hamas, the Palestinian Islamic Jihad organization has carried out deadly attacks on Israel several times, which includes the attacks of 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, and 2012.

 

Along with Israel, America has also designated this organization as a terrorist organization in the year 1997, and 2014, America has designated Ziad al-Nakhla, Secretary General of the Palestinian Islamic Organization, as a specially designated global terrorist.

 

500 people died in the attack on the hospital

The Gaza Health Ministry said Israel had carried out an airstrike on a Gaza City hospital. More than 500 people have been killed and hundreds have been injured in this air attack. At the time of this air strike, hundreds of people had reached Al-Ahli Hospital to take shelter. This air attack is being condemned by the entire country. Even after this attack, Arab countries have canceled the meeting with Joe Biden.
