More than seven crore voters increased in five years
According to the voter list released on February 8, 96.88 crore voters will participate in this election. Of these, 49.72 crore are men, 47.15 crore are women, and more than 48 thousand other voters. The male/female ratio of voters is 948, that is, there are 948 female voters for every thousand male voters. The percentage of voters in the total population is 66.76%.
There are 1.84 crore voters whose age is between 18 to 19 years. At the same time, the number of voters between 20 to 29 years is 19.74 crore. 1.85 crore voters are above 80 years of age, including 2,38,791 voters who have crossed the age of 100.
The number of voters has increased by more than six percent as compared to 2019. There were 89.6 crore voters in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections. The number of voters has increased by 7.28 crore in five years. Male voters have increased from 46.5 crore to 49.72 crore. That means the number of male voters has increased by 3.22 crore. At the same time, the number of women voters has increased from 43.1 crore to 47.15 crore. The number of women voters has increased more than that of men. 4.05 crore women voters have increased in five years.

Ram Mandir: The issue of Ram Mandir will dominate this election. On one hand, the BJP is taking credit for the prestige of the grand Ram temple. Corruption: BJP will be seen cornering the opposition on this issue throughout the elections. Before the elections, Prime Minister Modi himself had mentioned the bundles of notes found in raids on the houses of opposition leaders in his speeches. At the same time, the opposition has been continuously alleging that raids are conducted only on opposition leaders. No action is taken against the corrupt person who joins the BJP. During the elections, the names of such leaders will also be taken continuously by the opposition.
Unemployment: The opposition can also raise the issue of unemployment strongly during the elections. The issue of paper leaks in recruitment examinations will also be raised by the opposition during the elections. At the same time, the ruling party will count the actions taken by the government after the paper leak.
Caste Census: From Rahul Gandhi to Tejashwi Yadav and Akhilesh Yadav, most of the opposition leaders have been raising the issue of caste census. Even during the elections, the opposition will try to corner the ruling BJP on this issue. The last time the dates for Lok Sabha elections were announced was on March 10, 2019. At that time voting was held in seven phases in the country. The first round of voting took place on 11 April, while the seventh, i.e. the last round of voting took place on 19 May. The counting of votes took place on 23 May.
How were the results in 2019?
In the election results declared on 23 May 2019, BJP had got 303 seats. BJP was far ahead of the majority mark of 272 in the 543-member Lok Sabha. With this victory, the party formed the government for the second consecutive time. The main opposition Congress had to be content with 52 seats. Whereas, Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) had got 24 seats. YSRCP and TMC were successful in winning 22 seats each.
