Ranchi, April 10 (IANS) Amid tight security, polling began at 7 a.m. Thursday in Jharkhand's four Lok Sabha constituencies that are Maoist affected.
Voting began in Koderma, Lohardaga, Palamu and Chatra constituencies.
"As many as 1,193 video cameras will record the polling. Webcasting will done at 271 booths and 1,189 still cameras have also been pressed into service," said an election official to IANS.
