President Draupadi Murmu will address the nation on Thursday ahead of the 79th Independence Day. The address will be broadcast on the entire national network of All India Radio at 7 pm and on all Doordarshan channels in Hindi, followed by an English version.

 

Broadcast on Doordarshan in Hindi and English

The President's Office said the address will be broadcast on Doordarshan in Hindi and English, followed by regional languages on Doordarshan's regional channels.

 

PM Modi to deliver speech at Red Fort

He said All India Radio will broadcast regional language versions on its respective regional networks at 9.30 pm. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will deliver his traditional Independence Day speech from the ramparts of the Red Fort on Friday morning.
