Ukraine has now sought India's support to end the war with Russia. Ukraine's President's Office chief Andrey Ermak called India's National Security Advisor (NSA) Ajit Doval and appealed to India to support the draft resolution against Russia in the United Nations. This phone call from Ukraine has come at a time when the war between the two countries is about to complete one year.

According to the information, Ermak during a conversation with NSA Doval briefed him about the current situation. During this, he specifically told them about the city of Bakhmut in the Donetsk region. "We know that Russia is preparing some aggressive actions, and we are ready to respond," the Ukrainian official said. We will not stop in this war until we have liberated all our territories. All we need are weapons.

The motion will be presented against Russia

Let us tell you that a draft resolution on the war between Russia and Ukraine is to be presented in the United Nations General Assembly. It underscores the need for lasting peace in Ukraine. So far, India has been mostly absent during the voting on the resolution presented against Russia in the United Nations Security Council, the United Nations General Assembly, and the Human Rights Council. The draft resolution on the endorsement of the principles of the United Nations Charter will be presented to the UN General Assembly on 23 February.

We do not claim an inch of Russian land

During the conversation, Ermak said, India's cooperation on the peace proposal of Ukraine is very important for us. We are sure that you will support our proposal. Our goals are transparent and clear, we do not claim an inch of the Russian land. We just want to take back our territory.
