Bollywood superstar Salman Khan releases some of his films every year on Eid and gives Eid to his fans. But this year he has a different plan. Bhaijaan has told that he is planning to do a blast on Diwali or Christmas this year and will release his film in the meantime. This was announced by Salman during the promotional event of the International Indian Film Awards (IIFA). He told that this year he is taking a break on Eid.

Salman Khan is going to host IIFA to be held on May 20 and 21 at Yes Island in Abu Dhabi. During the media event of IIFA, Salman Khan said, 'This time I am taking a break during Eid. This time Ajay Devgan will bring his film 'Runway 34' in my place. I want all of you to show as much love for his film on Eid as you shower on me.

Apart from this, the actor also talked about the success of OTT and South Indian films. On the question of coming on OTT, Salman said that he will come on the digital platform, but as a producer. Salman attributed the film's pan-India success in the South to heroism. He said, 'Heroism films are dying in Bollywood. Today, Bollywood has moved away from films that were based on heroism. Sadly, heroism is not in vogue these days in Bollywood. This is sad because the hallmark of Bollywood has always been heroism, there is an emotional connection with the hero of the film.

He further added, “I have always worked in such films because it is something I believe in. One more thing, South Indian writers are very hardworking, they know the pulse of the audience. The films are of Pan India level. So I would like to see directors from the South take scripts from Bollywood and make them their own, and the same happens in Bollywood. This will happen only when we have a lot of good content."

Talking about Salman's films, he has two big projects 'Tiger 3' and 'Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali' and one of these films is likely to release on Diwali or Christmas this year.
