In the ICC T20I Rankings, Indian batsman Suryakumar Yadav has made his place in the top-5 of the batsmen's list for the first time with a long jump. Suryakumar, who recently scored a century in T20 Internationals, has benefited tremendously from his performance. He has reached his career-best ranking of 5th with 732 rating points after scoring 117 runs in the third T20I against England.
31-year-old Suryakumar has jumped 44 places in the latest T20 rankings released on Wednesday. Suryakumar, who made his international debut last year, has done well in the T20s in recent times. He has four T20 fifties to his name in the last 16 months. In the third T20 against England too, he played a stormy inning of 117 runs in 55 balls.
Apart from Suryakumar, veteran fast bowler Bhuvneshwar Kumar has also made his place in the top-10 on the bowling list. Bhuvi, who was the player of the series against England, took three wickets for 15 runs in the second T20. At the same time, Harshal Patel has also jumped 10 places to the 23rd position.
