He went from Kandahar to Jabul province in this car. When US forces entered Afghanistan, one-eyed Mullah Omar buried his car in the ground. Mulla's car will be kept in the National Museum
When the Taliban came to power in Afghanistan in 2022, it decided to find the car of its founder. After this, the search started for the car which has been recovered from Jabul province. The car was found wrapped in plastic. A local citizen told that the car is in good condition, only its front glass is broken. This car of Mullah Omar will soon be put on display in the National Museum of Afghanistan.
Mullah Omar remained the leader of the Taliban until his last days. Media reports claim that Mullah Omar died in 2013 due to prolonged illness. However, the Taliban kept the news of their commander's death a secret for two years. He informed the world about the death of Mullah Omar in the year 2015. Some reports said that Mullah Omar was treated in a hospital in Pakistan.

Mullah Omar was born in 1960 in Kandahar, southern Afghanistan. Mullah fought a war against the Soviet Union army in 1980. He lost one of his eyes in this battle. Since then he was also called the one-eyed mullah. Mullah Omar founded the Taliban in 1994 after a war with the Soviets and seized power in Afghanistan in 1996.
