Apple Chief Executive Tim Cook arrives in Mumbai on Monday ahead of the inauguration of Apple's first retail store in India. Cook, who has visited India several times, is also expected to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi. On the first day of the visit, Cook visited Antilla, the home of Mukesh Ambani, the richest Indian. It is being claimed that he met Tata Sons Chairman N Chandrasekaran and other top industrialists.
Company officials parried questions about Cook's travel schedule during his visit to India. On Monday afternoon, Cook himself confirmed his arrival by tweeting a photo with more than 100 employees inside the brand's store in the BKC business district. The store will open on Tuesday.

Cook also visited the company's BKC Store (Apple BKC Store) in Mumbai ahead of the inauguration on Tuesday. He shared a picture clicked at the store with the employees. "Hello, Mumbai! We can't wait to welcome our customers to the new Apple BKC tomorrow," he wrote. As Apple completes 25 years in India, CEO Tim Cook will welcome customers to its first retail store in India, which will open tomorrow i.e. Tuesday at Mumbai's Bandra Kurla Complex.
Tim Cook will meet PM Modi
Tim Cook is likely to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Deputy IT Minister Rajeev Chandrasekhar during his visit. He has also been seen meeting Mukesh Ambani at his home Antilla on Monday afternoon. According to media reports, Cook visited Ambani's residence Antilla, where he met Reliance Jio Chairman Akash Ambani and Reliance Retail Chairperson Isha Ambani.
Apple BKC store will open tomorrow
Apple has been operating in India for over 25 years, but this week the brand will get its official retail stores in the country. After launching its first retail store on 18th April, the company will inaugurate its second official retail store in India on 20th April at Select Citywalk Mall in Delhi. The Apple BKC store will open in Mumbai on Tuesday, April 18 at 11am IST.
