Till six overs, I think we did not take advantage of the game properly, but later, after 10 overs we got the rhythm, but then we lost a lot of wickets and then the rhythm was over. I think as a batsman, batting unit, we need to perform better in the middle overs and at the end."

Pakistan's next match is against India on June 9. At the same time, the US team will now face India on June 12. After the match, the Pakistan captain said that often the plans are not executed correctly against smaller teams, which later leads to defeat.

Babar further said, "Look, whenever you go into any tournament, you always prepare as best you can. You can say it is a kind of mindset. When you go against a team like this (USA), you relax a bit. You take things a bit lightly. Look, if you don't execute your plan against any team, no matter which team it is, it will beat you. So, I believe we are not good at execution. We are doing well in preparation, but in the match, we are not executing our plans as a team."
