Bagchi said that Defense Minister Rajnath Singh and External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar will participate from India's side in this meeting.
Many agreements can be signed during the visit of the Russian President to India. This tour is taking place when the first consignment of Air Defense System S-400 will reach India by the end of this year. This will be Vladimir Putin's second foreign trip in 2021. Putin last visited in 2018 to attend the summit. During this time both countries signed the S-400 deal.
In 2019, PM Narendra Modi visited the far eastern Russian city of Vladivostok. India at that time announced a soft credit line of one billion dollars to promote Indian business participation in the development of Eastern Russia. At the same time, the S-400 is expected to be discussed in detail at this summit. Apart from this, the Russian Sputnik Light vaccine is being mass-produced in India. In such a situation, there is a possibility of talks about the coronavirus as well.
At the same time, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar and Defense Minister Rajnath Singh are going to hold talks with their Russian counterparts Sergei Lavrov and Sergei Shoygu. Let us tell you that last year this meeting could not be held due to the Corona epidemic. External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar and Defense Minister Rajnath Singh were to visit Moscow in the last week of November. However, due to the winter session of Parliament starting from November 29, the program is being changed.
