Letting you go is not easy

No matter how hard I try

I cannot seem to get you out of my mind

 

I don't know what to do

I wish I could just embrace you

To feel your warmth again

 

But this is something we both know

Will not be able to happen

 

Should I go or should I stay

I'm so confused

And I can't get focused

But I think I should go

As this is the only right thing for you and us

 

I know we love each other

But at the wrong space and time

It hurts me a lot to let you go

But letting you go would spare us both from misery

Then that's the only thing I should do now
