I'm happy when you look at me.

A smile is what you see,

But what would you get

If you took the time to look inside of me?

A broken heart,

Lots of scars,

And the pain I try to hide.

I say nothing hurts me,

But the truth is in my eyes.

I put on a brave face,

But I feel like I could die.
