When I am hurt

And broken apart,

When I have no purpose in life,

You tell me to stay strong.

You find a way to make me smile.

You are the world to me!

 

When the world called me wrong

And blamed me for nothing,

When they did not stay,

You fought for me.

You stood with me forever.

You are the world to me!

 

When I had to blink back tears

And give a fake smile,

When I had no one else,

You gave me a shoulder to cry on,

You made me love myself.

You are the world to me!
