3 Indians among Asia's biggest philanthropists: Adani top in Forbes list, 60 thousand crores. Donated

Forbes has released the list of the biggest philanthropists in Asia. These include the names of India's Gautam Adani, Shiv Nadar, and Ashok Suta. Apart from this, the names of Malaysian-Indian businessman Brahmal Vasudevan and his lawyer wife Shanti Kandia are also on this list. They are spending on philanthropy in India and Malaysia.

 

Adani donated 60 thousand crore rupees

Adani is currently the richest person in Asia and is the chief of the Adani Group. In June this year, he talked about spending Rs 60,000 crore on social work on attaining the age of 60 years. Adani has claimed that his money is being spent on health, education, and skill development.

 

Shiv Nadar: Rs 11,600 crore this year. Donation

 

Shiv Nadar is the Founder and Chairman Emeritus of HCL Technologies Limited and Shiv Nadar Foundation. HCL's Shiv Nadar (70) is also on the list without any ranking. 11,600 crores this year. Donated Schools and colleges are being built with this amount.

 

Ashok Soota: Rs 600 crore for research. lamps
