New Delhi: Stones were thrown at the convoy of BJP National President JP Nadda in the Diamond Harbor area while going to 24 Parganas district of West Bengal. The incident has been condemned by Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Defense Minister Rajnath Singh and other leaders.

Amit Shah tweeted, "Today the attack on BJP National President Shri JP Nadda Ji in Bengal is very condemnable, whatever amount of condemnation it has to be condemned. The central government is taking this attack very seriously. The Bengal government will have to answer to the peace-loving people of the state for this sponsored violence.

Amit Shah said, "Bengal has gone into an era of tyranny, anarchy, and darkness under Trinamool rule." How political violence has been institutionalized and brought to the extreme within West Bengal under TMC rule is sad and worrying for all those who believe in democratic values. ''

At the same time, Rajnath Singh said that after the attack on the convoy of BJP National President JP Nadda during his stay in West Bengal, I spoke to him on the phone and got information about his skill. This incident is a reflection of the declining law and order of the state of West Bengal.

He said, "In a democracy, it is very worrying to target political leaders in this way. Given the seriousness of the attack on the convoy of the BJP national president, it should be thoroughly investigated and the responsibility of this incident should be fixed.

What did JP Nadda say?

BJP chief JP Nadda said in a meeting of party workers after the attack on the convoy that West Bengal has become a 'chaotic and intolerant' state. He said that if I have been able to reach here for the meeting then it is the blessings of Mother Durga. Nadda said that few days of Mamata Banerjee government are left, we have to defeat this 'Gundaraja'.

BJP said that in the stone-pelting incident, the car of the party's national general secretary Kailash Vijayvargiya was vandalized. West Bengal BJP chief Dilip Ghosh said, "During our visit to Diamond Harbor, Trinamool Congress supporters blocked the way and threw stones at Nadda's vehicle and other vehicles. It shows the true color of the Trinamool Congress. "Later the police intervened and ensured that the convoy could pass through there.
