The Homi Bhabha Cancer Hospital and Research Center will have 300 beds and is currently partially open.
Outpatient Departments (OPDs) of various departments like Surgical Oncology, Medical Oncology, Radiation Oncology, Preventive Oncology, Anesthesia, and Palliative have started functioning. The official said that the hospital will provide cancer treatment facilities to patients not only from Punjab but also from Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Haryana, Uttarakhand, and Rajasthan.
