A senior leader of the organization Anas Haqqani has rejected the talk of the ongoing rift between the Taliban. After the Taliban's interim announcement, there were reports of a dispute between rival factions of the group at Rashtrapati Bhavan. Now Haqqani has denied these rumors by tweeting.

In a tweet, Haqqani said, "The Islamic Emirate is a united front that highly respects a single line of Islamic values (Islamism) and Afghan values (Afghans). We all stand united to bring peace, prosperity, and stability to our beloved Afghanistan.

Rumors were surfacing on social media that the Taliban's interim deputy prime minister, Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar, was hurt during a dispute between Taliban factions and the powerful Haqqani network. Baradar denied the claims in an audio clip earlier Monday, but no video or images had surfaced, CNN reports.

When asked about the rumors, Baradar said, 'No, it is not true at all. I am fit and fine by the blessings of the above. The claims being made in the media are not true. He further said, by the blessings of the above, we are very kind to each other which does not happen even in a family.
