AR Rahman won a big win on Thursday. He won the Best Score-Foreign Language Film award at the Hollywood Music in Media Awards 2024 for his work in the Malayalam film 'The Goat Life'. Rahman took to social media to express his happiness about this.

 

Won award for 'The Goat Life'

 

AR Rahman shared a Billboard article on the full list of winners at the Hollywood Music in Media Awards on X after midnight. He wrote with it, 'Score - Independent Film (Foreign Language), The Goat Life - AR. Rahman.' Seeing the post, fans and fellow artists congratulated the composer. Many said that this paved the way for him to be honored at the 'Oscars 2025'.

 

Released a video to thank

 

On Thursday evening, Rahman also released a video. In this, he was seen thanking the film's team and fans for standing by him. He said, 'It is an incredible honor to receive this award for Best Score for a Foreign Language Film The Goat Life. I am very grateful to the Hollywood Music and Media Awards for recognizing the score. This award was given a day after Rahman and his wife Saira Banu announced their separation. Rahman and Saira got married in 1995 and have three children. On Tuesday night, Rahman released a note that read, "We had hoped to reach the grand thirty, but it seems all things have an unseen end. Even the throne of God can tremble with the weight of broken hearts. Yet, in this shattering we find meaning. Thank you, our friends, for your kindness and for respecting our privacy as we go through this delicate phase."
