The Bhagwant Mann government of Punjab has appointed Aam Aadmi Party leader and state in-charge Raghav Chadha as chairman of the advisory committee on public interest matters. Party sources have given this information. Recently, a notification was issued by the Punjab Government about the formation of an advisory committee. This has also been targeted by opposition parties. The opposition says that it is unconstitutional to form this committee and in this way, it is wrong to give entry to an institution outside the government in matters of power.
Punjab Congress President Amarinder Raja Vading tweeted, "Man Sahib why are you creating an unconstitutional body with real power in its hands and no accountability. Is this a conspiracy by the real forces of the Aam Aadmi Party to create a super cabinet and super CM in Punjab? Please explain why you are asking for such advice. Who will be the chairman of this institution and who will be given its membership. There have been allegations from the opposition side that there is interference in the Punjab government from Delhi and Bhagwant Mann is not working independently.
