'Canada's allegations are serious...', America came out in support of Trudeau government in Nijjar murder case; What did it demand from India?

India vs Canada issue Canada has made several allegations against India regarding the murder of Khalistani terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijjar, after which relations between the two countries have deteriorated. Now America has also jumped into this matter and has made a special request to India, terming these allegations of the Trudeau government as 'extremely serious'.

America has requested India to cooperate in Canada's investigation in this matter. US State Department spokesman Matthew Miller said,

 

"We have made it clear that Canada's allegations are very serious and should be taken seriously and we want the Indian government to cooperate with Canada and its investigation. But, India has chosen an alternative path."

He said that India remains an incredibly strong partner of America. We have worked with them on many matters, including our shared vision for a free, open, and prosperous Indo-Pacific and whenever we have any concerns, we have a relationship where we can take those concerns to them and have a very frank conversation about those concerns.
