New Delhi, Jan 21 (IANS) Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh Wednesday said religion-based census data will be released at an "appropriate time".
"The religion-based census data will be released at an appropriate time," he told reporters. "If its been prepared, it will be released."
The registrar general and census commissioner, a department under the home ministry prepares this data.
The last such data was made public in 2004. The data to be released now was updated till 2011.
