Chandrayaan-3: Scientists reached Tirupati Venkatachalapati temple before the launch of Chandrayaan-3, worshiped for the success of the mission

Indian Space Research Institute (ISRO) is going to launch Chandrayaan-3 soon. A team of ISRO scientists reached Tirupati Venkatachalapathi temple carrying a miniature model of Chandrayaan-3 to pray for a successful launch.

Let us tell you, ISRO had recently announced that ISRO will launch the third mission of Chandrayaan on July 14 at 2:35 pm from the Satish Dhawan Space Center in Sriharikota, Andhra Pradesh.

Earlier on Tuesday, ISRO had successfully rehearsed the landing of Chandrayaan-3 on the moon. In a tweet from ISRO, it was told that a 24-hour rehearsal of the entire launch preparation and process in a dummy form was completed. The Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) will launch the much-awaited mission Chandrayaan-3 on July 14. Chandrayaan-3's focus is on making a safe landing on the lunar surface. Earlier, ISRO had launched two missions - Chandrayaan-1 and Chandrayaan-2, but both of them could not land on the surface.

 

What is Chandrayaan-3?

According to ISRO officials, the Chandrayaan-3 mission is the next phase of Chandrayaan-2, which will land on the lunar surface and conduct tests. It will have a propulsion module, a lander, and a rover. Chandrayaan-3's focus is on making a safe landing on the lunar surface. New equipment has been created for the success of the mission. The algorithms have been improved. The reasons why the Chandrayaan-2 mission could not land on the lunar surface have been focused on.

 

The mission will take off from the Sriharikota center on July 14 at 2:35 pm and if all goes according to plan, will land on the Moon on August 23 or 24. Earlier on Wednesday, the encapsulated assembly containing Chandrayaan-3 was attached to LVM3 at the Satish Dhawan Space Center in Sriharikota. This mission will make India the fourth country in the world to soft land on the Moon after the US, Russia, and China.
