Fraud in the name of Akshay Kumar's production house, fake casting agent tried to trap the influencer

Struggling actors and actresses are often cheated in the name of films. Many times people are implicated even by taking big names. Now a similar case has come up regarding Akshay Kumar. An attempt was made to defraud an influencer in the name of his production house. However, the influencer's intelligence saved him.

 

A person named Rohan Mehra, posing as an employee of Akshay Kumar's production house Cape of Good Films, laid a trap for fraud in the name of providing employment. However, he has been arrested.

 

Fake casting director arrested

According to the news of news agency ANI, the name of the arrested person is Prince Kumar and his age is 29 years. Posing as Rohan Mehra, he contacted social media influencer Pooja Anandani to commit fraud. She claimed to be working in Akshay Kumar's production house, but the actress used her brains and informed the police at the right time, due to which she could be caught.

 

Trapped by posing as a casting director

According to Mumbai's Juhu Police, Prince Kumar contacted Pooja Anandani by lying and luring her with work. Introducing himself as a casting director, he told the influencer that a film based on the Nirbhaya case was being made and in this regard called him to meet him in Juhu.

Pooja Anandani and Prince Kumar first met in a coffee house. Where a photographer also took his photo, which was claimed to be related to Amitabh Bachchan. After this, he called Pooja Anandani to meet him for the second time at JW Marriott Hotel. According to information received from Juhu Police, on April 3, the accused contacted Pooja Anandani by the name of Rohan Mehra using his mobile phone and introduced himself as an employee of Cape of Good Films.

 

How did the fraud come to light?

However, the investigation revealed that no such person worked in the production house. Upon discovering the fraud, Pooja Anandani immediately informed the production house, confirming the fraudster's fraud. Along with this, Anandani complained to the nearby Juhu Police Station, after which a case was registered against the culprit and during the second meeting, he was arrested at the JW Marriott Hotel.
