Taliban leaders are giving interviews to the channels sitting in the Rashtrapati Bhavan. They claim that President Ghani was trying to take away 5 million dollars in cash, but this money remained on the helipad of the presidential palace.

 

According to media reports, some explosions were also heard in Kabul late at the night. However, Taliban sources did not confirm this. Commercial flights have been banned from Kabul Airport.

 

Council formed for restoration of peace, Karzai will lead

Meanwhile, a coordination council has been formed for the restoration of peace in the country. Former President Hamid Karzai will lead it. It will also feature the current CEO of Afghanistan, Abdullah Abdullah, and jihadist leader Gulbuddin Hekmatyar. The Taliban also broke the Pul-e-Charkhi prison after the Bagram prison in Kabul, about 5 thousand prisoners have been freed. Pul-e-Charkhi is the biggest prison in Afghanistan. Most of the Taliban were confined here.

 

The Taliban had told that there is no war in Kabul, but talks are going on to gain power peacefully. It is also said that Kabul is a big capital and urban area. Taliban also captured Jalalabad

Earlier on Sunday, the Taliban had also established their rule over Jalalabad, the capital of Nangarhar province. According to the news agency France Press, the people of Jalalabad told that when they woke up on Sunday morning, they saw Taliban flags flying all over the city and they did not even have to fight a war to capture it.

 

Mazar-e-Sharif, the strongest stronghold of the Afghan army, is also with the Taliban.
