This means that this potential drug has a therapeutic effect. '

 

 Possible 'cure' of illness and reduced recovery time

The drug uses antibodies that neutralize antibodies produced by the human immune system to stop the cells that infect the virus - which Zhi's team isolated from the blood of 60 patients. A study on the team's research published in the Scientist journal Cell on Sunday reported that using antibodies has a potential 'cure' for the disease and reduces recovery time.

 

 

 

Zhi said that his team was working 'day and night' for antibodies. Said that 'our expertise is single cell genomics rather than immunity science or virus science. When we realized that single cell genomic could be effective, we were thrilled. He said that he hoped that the medicine would be ready to face the possible outbreak of the virus at the end of this year and in any cold weather.

 

Zhi said 'Clinical testing is going on for the trial. This will be done in Australia and other countries as cases have reduced in China. He said, "Hopefully these neutralizing antibodies can become a special drug, which can stop the epidemic." A health official said that China already has five potential coronavirus vaccines in human trials. At the same time, the World Health Organization has warned that it may take 12 to 18 months to develop a vaccine.
