The population of the world has crossed eight hundred crores. Many countries are worried about the increasing population, while many countries are running a campaign to increase the population. Japan is one such country. Japan's government has announced a new plan to encourage families to have children this year. According to this, about one million yen (six lakh Indian rupees) will be given as a reward for every child born to those who move to the outskirts of Tokyo. This means you are getting a chance to become a millionaire as soon as you give birth to a child.

Japan: Six lakh rupees per child

Even after many years of marriage, most people do not give birth to children here. Due to this, the number of youth in Japan is continuously decreasing, while the number of elderly is increasing. Now the number of people working in Japan has decreased. This country is troubled due to its dwindling population. A new survey of Japanese people has found that 70 percent of unmarried men and 60 percent of unmarried women between the ages of 18 and 34 are not interested in a relationship, The Japan Times reports. There is also 30 percent of such couples do not have children even after many years of marriage. Due to this, the government here gives cash rewards for giving birth to children. Now a reward of six lakh rupees will be given to each child. Japan's birth rate is only 1.46, which is a matter of concern for the country.

Russia: Seven lakh rupees for a second and third child

There has been a steady decline in the population rate in Russia since World War II. Now there are 800 males for every 1000 females. Most of the youth here is a bachelor's. Many couples do not have children even after marriage. Because of this, the government declared 12 September 2007 as 'Conception Day'. This day is a holiday so that people can focus on having children. Apart from this, women who give birth to a child exactly nine months after this day are gifted with cars and electronic items. The Russian government has started another scheme. According to this, nine thousand dollars i.e. about seven lakh rupees is given to the woman who gives birth to a second or third child.

Italy: The government bears all the expenses of the children

In Italy too, the youth population is decreasing rapidly. This is the reason that the government here has expressed concern about the decreasing population. Here the per-woman fertility rate is only 1.43, which is less than the European average of 1.58. The government has made many plans, through which people are being made aware to produce more and more children. If those who give birth to children need financial help, then the government bears the entire cost of the children.

Romania: Here those who do not give birth are taxed more

Since the 1990s, the birth rate in Romania has been steadily decreasing. According to the United Nations, the growth rate of the population here in the year 2018 is -0.50%. The situation here is getting so bad that the government has started imposing more taxes on couples who do not give birth to children. According to a report, couples who do not produce children have to pay 20 percent more tax.

Turkey: Here you get a reward for giving birth to children

The birth rate is continuously decreasing in Turkey as well. This is the reason that the government here has also announced a reward for producing more and more children. Here women who become mothers are given part-time jobs on a full-time salaries.
