According to the data released by the Union Health Ministry on Monday, a record 11,502 new cases of corona virus have been reported in the country in the last 24 hours, after which the total number of infected people has crossed the figure of 3 lakh 30 thousand to 332,424. A total of 9520 people have died due to this epidemic in the country and 169,798 people have become healthy. Corona currently has 153,106 active cases in the country.
Maharashtra has been the most affected in the country by this epidemic. In the last 24 hours, 3390 new cases have been registered in the state and 120 people have died. With this, the total number of people affected by this in the state has increased to 1,07,958 and the death toll from this deadly virus has increased to 3950. During this period, 1632 people have become disease-free in the state, taking the total number of healthy people to 50,978. Tamil Nadu ranks second in being affected by the Corona virus, where the number of infected has reached 44,661 and 435 people have died while 24,547 people have been discharged from various hospitals after treatment.
The condition of the national capital Delhi is continuously deteriorating due to Corona and it is third in the country in terms of number of infected people. In the capital, the number of corona infected has increased to 41,182 and the death toll to 1327 while 15,823 patients have been discharged from hospitals after treatment. The western state of the country Gujarat ranks fourth in terms of impact by Covid-19, but the state ranks second after Maharashtra in terms of number of deaths. So far 23,544 people have been infected in Gujarat and 1477 people have lost their lives. At the same time 16,325 people have managed to recover from this disease.
According to the population, 13,615 people have been affected by the corona virus so far in the country's largest state Uttar Pradesh and 399 people have died while 8268 people have recovered from it. In Rajasthan too, the corona outbreak is in full swing and the number of infected people has reached 12,694 and 292 people have died, while 9566 people have fully recovered. West Bengal today surpassed Madhya Pradesh in terms of number of infected people. In the state, 11,087 people have been infected with Corona virus and 475 people have died and 5060 people have been cured so far.
In Madhya Pradesh, 10,802 people have been corona infected and 459 people have died of it while 7677 people have been infected. In the South Indian state of Karnataka, 7000 people have been infected and 6163 people in Andhra Pradesh and the death toll in these states is 86 and 84 respectively. In the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir, the number of infected has increased to 5041 and 59 people have died. 88 in Haryana, 67 in Punjab, 39 in Bihar, 24 in Uttarakhand, 19 in Kerala, 11 in Odisha, eight each in Assam, Jharkhand and Chhattisgarh, seven in Himachal Pradesh, five each in Chandigarh and Puducherry, Tripura, Ladakh. And in Meghalaya, one person has died due to this epidemic.
