Because of the situation, the Ministry of Home Affairs has ordered the states to supply oxygen. Let me tell you that the second wave of the Corona epidemic is becoming frightening all over the country. More than three lakh cases have been reported in the last 24 hours. After which, on Thursday, the Ministry of Home Affairs has been ordered to supply oxygen.
Along with this, the Union Home Ministry said in a statement that there should be no restriction on the movement of medical oxygen between states. The Ministry of Home Affairs asked the states to order transport corporations to allow the free interstate movement of vehicles involved in oxygen transport. According to the statement, the ministry said that there is no restriction on oxygen producers, suppliers will supply life-saving gas only to hospitals in the state where they are located. Officials said that the central government is making every effort to ensure an uninterrupted supply of oxygen so that there is no shortage of medical oxygen in hospitals of any state including the national capital Delhi.
The ministry has said that no authority should seize vehicles involved in oxygen transport. If the oxygen supply is interrupted then the concerned District Magistrate and Superintendent of Police will be responsible.
