Corona in Delhi: 3009 cases reported in 24 hours, 252 deaths, infection rate less than 5%

On Friday, Corona Bulletin has been released in Delhi, according to which, in the last 24 hours, 3009 new infections have been reported in the capital. At the same time 252 infected died and 7288 people became infection-free.

 

 

What is the test data?

There were a total of 63190 tests on the last day, out of which 45685 RTPCR tests and 17505 antigen tests have been done. After these tests, a total of 3009 new infections were found, due to which Delhi's infection rate has come down to 4.76 percent. Let us know that less than five percent infection rate has been recorded in Delhi after 46 days. To date, 1 crore 85 lakh 95 thousand 993 tests have been conducted in Delhi. At the same time, tests are being conducted at the rate of 9 lakh 78 thousand 736 per 10 lakh population in Delhi.

 

 

Bed position in Delhi's hospitals

Talking about the condition of beds in hospitals in Delhi, out of a total of 25068 beds, 11388 beds are filled and 13680 beds are empty. At the same time, 5744 and 515 beds are empty in Dedicated Covid Care Center and Health Center respectively. At the same time, the number of patients of Home Isolation has come down to 20673.

 

What is the situation from the beginning till now?

With this, a total of 14 lakh 12 thousand 959 people have been infected in Delhi so far. Out of these, 13 lakh 54 thousand 445 people have become infected free and 22831 people have lost their lives. In terms of these figures, the total infection rate of Delhi so far is 7.6 percent and the death rate is 1.62 percent. There are a total of 35683 active patients in Delhi and the total number of containment zones is 50074.

 

Vaccination condition in Delhi

Delhi had 77594 vaccines in 24 hours. Of this, 56375 was the first dose and 21219 was the second dose. So far, a total of 49 lakh 67 thousand 622 doses have been placed in Delhi. Out of this, more than 38 lakh first dose has been started and more than 11 lakh second dose has been started.

197 cases of black fungus

On the other hand, Health Minister Satyendra Jain on Friday said that 197 cases of black fungus were reported in hospitals in Delhi till Wednesday night. He said that these include patients who are coming from outside and are being treated in hospitals here. Without warning from doctors, Covid-19 cautioned against taking Steroids by patients. He said that it is very dangerous. Taking steroids reduces the immunity of patients. Black fungus is found in soil or rotting material inside the home and does not affect healthy individuals, but those with impaired immunity are at greater risk of becoming infected.

 

Many vaccination centers closed

The minister said that the center vaccinating people aged 18 to 44 in Delhi was closed on Friday as there is a shortage of vaccines for this age group in the national capital. He said that the dose of covaxin in Delhi had expired several days earlier. Covishield supplements are also running out. Many centers have been closed today. He said that there is a shortage of amphotericin-B injections used in the treatment of black fungus or mucormycosis throughout the country. The center is expected to get 2000 injections to Delhi which will be given to these hospitals.
