Corona in Maharashtra: Because of the worsening situation in the state, the Center sent 30 special teams, on the verge of ending the vaccine dose, the army is helping in Pune.

The infection of the corona epidemic in Maharashtra is rapidly moving towards its new peak. Because of the worsening situation here, the central government has sent 30 specialist medical teams to different districts. These teams of Corona experts will help the officials battling Covid in the state to formulate strategies for corona control. Meanwhile, vaccine doses are on the verge of ending in the state. According to the state government, now there are only one to two days left.

 

So far, 59,907 cases were reported in the last 24 hours. With this, the total cases increased to 31,73,261. The state recorded 322 corona-infected deaths during this period. The total death toll from Corona in Maharashtra now stands at 56,652.

 

Vaccine stock to end in Maharashtra

Principal Secretary (Health) Pradeep Vyas said that till Wednesday morning there were about 14 lakh vaccine doses in the state. In many districts, the stock will run out by today or tomorrow. The Center is aware of this and we have told them in writing. He told that if there is a schedule and availability of vaccines, then Maharashtra can easily be given five lakh shots every day. Maharashtra Health Minister Rajesh Tope also said that the state needs 40 lakh doses in a week. We are giving vaccines to 4-5 lakh people a day, so if the vaccine is not found, then there can be a big problem. Tope said, "We accept the challenge of putting 6 lakh doses of the center every day, but there should be a vaccine."

While 48 lakh has been given to Uttar Pradesh, 40 lakh to Madhya Pradesh and almost the same amount has been given to other states. My question is why is Maharashtra being discriminated against?

 

I immediately spoke to Union Health Minister Harsh Vardhan regarding this matter. NCP Chief Sharad Pawar also spoke to him. I told them how far this vaccine is appropriate for a population of 12 crores? After this, the Union Health Minister has assured me that corrections will be done in this matter soon.

 

Health Minister Tope said that 16 million vaccine doses are required every month and 40 million every week. We want that instead of helping other countries, the central government should come forward to help Maharashtra. The central government is helping us, but not as we need. The population of Gujarat is half that of Maharashtra and there is a dose of 1 crore vaccine, whereas only 1.04 lakh has been given for Maharashtra. He said that we are talking directly to its producer company to stop the black marketing of Remedesvir.

 

Indian Army ready to give 20 beds in Pune

The corona in Pune has gone out of control to the extent that the district administration had sought help from the Indian Army. The ventilators and oxygen beds are full in Pune. Beds are not for keeping new patients. In such a situation, there was a demand to make the Army Hospital of Pune available to ordinary citizens. Assuming the army has said to give 20 beds.

 

Hotel rental in Pune comes

Pune does not have a place to house patients in hospitals. Hotels are being hired to keep them. Corona infection is growing so fast that all the beds are already full. Every day, in the last 15 days, four thousand new cases are being reported in Pune. According to information provided by the Ruby Hospital in Pune, the hospital has rented three hotels and has been able to arrange 180 beds. The condition of the Ruby Hospital is similar to the government hospitals and other hospitals in Pune.

 

There is a huge shortage of oxygen in Maharashtra

The state's Food and Drug Regulator (FDA) has expressed apprehensions about the lack of oxygen in the coming days. The state health department has informed the FDA that by the end of April, the number of active cases in Maharashtra could reach 9 lakh. With this, the oxygen demand will also double. In February, where 150 to 200 metric tons of oxygen was required in the hospitals of Maharashtra, the demand has increased to 650 to 750 metric tons by the end of March. On 6 April, the consumption of oxygen in Maharashtra reached 777 MT. Maharashtra has a maximum capacity of 1250 MT per day of oxygen production. At present, Maharashtra takes 30 to 50 metric tons of oxygen every day from Gujarat and soon it will get 50 metric tons of oxygen from Chhattisgarh every day.

 

CM asks for two days for lockdown

Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray asked for two days on the lockdown issue in a virtual meeting with businessmen agitated by the resumption of lockdown in the state. He said that some responsibility would have to be borne by the traders as well and they would have to work closely with the government in the fight against the rising infection and the fight against Corona. The Chief Minister stressed that it is important that everyone should unite and work together to win this fight. Students of 9th and 11th will be promoted

Schools were closed for a year due to the growing threat of corona in Maharashtra. In the state, children were being educated inside schools online. This time the admission in 11th grade started quite late. Now, because of the growing case of Corona, the Maharashtra government has announced that students of classes IX and 11th will be promoted to the next class. Earlier, the government had ordered to promote students from first to eighth.

 

Ban should be imposed on spitting in public places: court

The Bombay High Court on Wednesday directed the Maharashtra government and BMC to take appropriate steps to curb the problem of spitting in public places. A division bench of Chief Justice Dipankar Dutt and Justice GS Kulkarni asked to increase the amount of fine against 200 spiters from 1200 to 1200. The court questioned, "What is the importance of 200 rupees nowadays?" You are losing revenue. This habit of spitting needs to be stopped. "

 

More than 10,000 patients found for the second time in Mumbai

In Mumbai, 10,428 new cases of infection were reported on Wednesday and 23 more people died due to it. With this, the total number of infected in Mumbai has increased to 4,82,760 and the number of dead has reached 11,851. This is the second consecutive day the city has witnessed more than 10,000 cases of infection. This is the third time this month when the cases have crossed the 10,000 mark. There are currently 81,886 active patients in Mumbai. In Mumbai, the rate of recovery from Covid-19 has come down to 80 percent while the overall rate of infection has increased to 1.91 percent and now cases of infection are doubling in 35 days.

 

789 buildings in Mumbai have been sealed so far

There are 72 containment zones in Mumbai, where 789 buildings have been sealed. The BMC issued an order on Wednesday permitting home delivery of food and essential supplies through online service providers all day of the week while the restrictions imposed by the coronavirus continued. The municipality has also allowed parcels and packed food to be carried to roadside food bags during the weekend lockdown.

 

Corona's new guideline in Mumbai

 

No more than five people are allowed in public places on weekends from 7 am to 8 pm.

 

Any movement other than essential services will be restricted from 8 pm to 7 am on weekends.

 

The beach will be closed till 30 April.

 

No more than five people will be allowed to visit the gardens and public grounds from 7 am to 8 pm.

 

Shops, markets, and malls will be completely closed barring essential services.

 

Necessary services will always be operational.

 

Private offices will remain closed (except essential services)

 

Permission is granted for film and TV shooting with conditions.

 

Religious, social, cultural, and political functions will be banned.

 

Entertainment services (cinema, theater, auditorium, arcade, water park, club, swimming pool, gym, sports complex) will remain closed.

Full seating capacity, no standing

 

People traveling by train/bus/flight can travel all the time.

Industrial workers traveling by private buses/vehicles can travel all the time using a valid ID card.

 

Center's letter to the state for less vaccination

The Center has written a letter to Maharashtra on vaccination below the average of all eligible beneficiaries, including health workers. In a letter to the Principal Secretaries of the state, Additional Health Secretary Manohar Again has mentioned that the performance of these states and union territories is below the national average and needs to be improved.
