The ever-increasing cases of corona and its new variant Omicron in America have devastated the health system here. On the other hand, in Kentucky, Alabama, Indiana, and New Hampshire, the situation is so bad that less than 10 percent of ICU beds in hospitals here are empty. This means that the situation has become worrying due to the increasing number of corona patients here. Experts have termed it as a tsunami of Corona in America.

 

Let us tell you that since the beginning of the corona epidemic, this is the first time that record-breaking patients are coming to the fore in America. Twice the number of new corona cases here has crossed one million, which is the highest in the world. Due to the increasing scope of infection, now the risk of getting infected in the hospital has increased. Due to rising corona cases, the mayor of Washington has to say that hospitals should stop seeing other patients for the time being and focus solely on corona patients.

 

The havoc of Corona is not limited only to America, but Russia and other countries of Europe have also been seriously affected by it. In Russia, the number of new cases of corona and deaths due to it is increasing continuously. Here the total number of infected people has crossed one crore seven lakh and so far 3.19 lakh patients have lost their lives. According to Russian Deputy Prime Minister Tatiana Golikova, the country's capital Moscow is most affected by this. Half of the total cases coming across the country are coming from here only.

 

Even China has not been able to escape from the corona epidemic. Now the shadow of the corona epidemic can be seen on the Winter Olympics to be held here. Now only two weeks are left for the Beijing Winter Olympics to begin. Meanwhile, restrictions are being increased in China. Under this, even those coming from abroad are being banned. China has also allowed its citizens to travel only when necessary.

 

In Britain, new research has found that Omicron is spreading rapidly among youth and children, which has increased the number of patients admitted to the hospital. However, most of these have mild infections. It has been said that due to vaccination, till now its serious cases are being reported less than before. Omicron has resulted in 42 percent of children under one-year needing hospitalization.

 

The situation of the Corona epidemic in Italy is more or less similar. Here on Friday, 1.86 lakh new cases of corona have been reported. A day before this, 1,84,615 cases were reported. Similarly, cases of corona have increased in France, but here the number of patients admitted to ICU has decreased.
