Sambhal: The electricity department team reached SP MP Bark's house for inspection, checked the load along with the meter reading

Faults have been found in the electricity meter installed by SP MP Ziaur Rahman Bark and former MP Shafiqur Rahman Bark. In this sequence, a team from the electricity department reached the residence of SP MP Ziaur Rahman Bark in Sambhal on Thursday with many security personnel. The team has identified irregularities in the use of electricity here. The team checked the meter reading, a load of AC, fans, and other electrical appliances.

Faults have been found in the electricity meter installed in the name of SP MP Ziaur Rahman Bark and former MP Shafiqur Rahman Bark. Now the electricity department is getting this meter tested in the lab. Action will be taken based on the report prepared by the lab. Vinod Kumar Gupta, Superintending Engineer of the Electricity Department, said that the smart meter has been installed at the MP's residence. The old meter has been sealed. This meter will be investigated. In the preliminary investigation, faults have been found in the meter unit.

The warehouse was converted into an e-rickshaw charging station.

Sambhal. The electricity department team on Wednesday caught electricity theft at 20 places in Mohalla Nawabkhel and Hayatnagar of Sarayatrain. A warehouse in the Nawabkhel locality was converted into an e-rickshaw charging station. The team found 11 e-rickshaws being charged with stolen electricity at the warehouse. The department has filed a report against all of them.

 

SDO III Krishna Gopal said that the team had left for checking at six in the morning on Wednesday. When a warehouse located in Mohalla Nawabkhel of Sarayatrain was raided, 11 e-rickshaws were charged. Similarly, electricity theft has been caught in 9 other places as well. I was told that information has been received that e-rickshaws have been charged for a long time. It was told that a fine of about two crore rupees will be imposed. This fine is being decided based on the weight found in the preliminary investigation. A report has been filed against everyone.
