In the last 24 hours, 24,740 new cases of corona infection were found in the country, 82.7 thousand patients were cured, while 344 people died due to corona infection. The cases of corona infection are continuously decreasing. Earlier on January 31, 22,775 cases were reported. Compared to the peak of the third wave, there has been a drop of 93% in cases. On January 20, 3.47 lakh new cases were found at the peak.

 

Big drop in active cases too

Presently 4.15 lakh patients are being treated in the country. This is the lowest since January 6. Then 3.71 lakh people were being treated. The third wave had the highest number of 22.49 lakh active cases on 23 January. Similarly, on February 14, the number of people who recovered was 82,788, which is the lowest since January 11. Then 60,405 people had defeated this disease.

2. Maharashtra: Cases drop by 1,500 as compared to the previous day

So far, more than 10.27 lakh people have come under the grip of infection in the state. Of these, 10 lakh people have been cured, while 10,697 people died. 16,929 patients are currently undergoing treatment.

 

4. Gujarat: The number of people recovering more than double compared to new cases

1,040 new cases were found in Gujarat on Monday. 2,570 people defeated Corona, while 14 people died. A day before this, 1274 new cases were found on Sunday. 3,022 people defeated Corona, while 13 people died.

 

So far, a total of 12.16 lakh people have come under the grip of infection in the state. Of these, 11.92 lakh people have been cured, while 10,822 people have died. There are 12,667 active cases here.

 

5. Uttar Pradesh: Only 1 person died due to corona infection

There were 1,233 new corona cases in the last 24 hours. 1,501 people were cured and 1 person died. Earlier on Sunday, 1,426 new corona cases came. 2,481 people were cured and 7 people died.

 

So far 20.59 lakh people have come under the grip of infection in the state. Of these, 20.22 lakh people have been cured, while 23,399 people have died. 13,945 patients are currently undergoing treatment in the state.

 

6. Rajasthan: New cases decreased compared to the previous day

In Rajasthan, 1,102 cases were reported in the last 24 hours and 3,178 people were cured. During this 6 people died. A day before this, i.e. on Sunday, 2,177 cases were reported and 4,510 people were cured. During this 7 people died.

 

So far, more than 12.66 lakh people have come under the grip of infection in the state. Of these, 12.38 lakh people have been cured, while 9,469 people died. 18,982 patients are currently undergoing treatment.

 

7. Delhi: Continuous decline in new cases

On Sunday, 586 new corona cases were reported in Delhi and 4 people died. 1092 people were cured. A day before this, 804 new corona cases were reported and 12 people died. 1,197 people were cured.

 

So far, more than 18.51 lakh people have come under the grip of infection in the state. Of these, 18.22 lakh have been cured, while 26,076 died. At present, 3,416 patients are undergoing treatment.

 

8. Punjab: More than twice as many patients have been cured as compared to the previous day

In Punjab, 297 new infections have been found on the last day and 14 people have died. 769 people have also recovered from the infection. A day before this, 327 new infections were found and 11 people died. 597 people also recovered from the infection.

So far 7.55 lakh people have come under the grip of infection in the state. Of these, 7.34 lakh people have been cured, while 17,610 people have died. The total active cases are 3,480.
