Virender Sehwag suggested how Team India's batting and bowling combination should be in T20 World Cup 2022

The ICC T20 World Cup is to be played in October-November this year and all the teams have started preparations for it. The T20 World Cup is to be played in Australia this year and during this time there is a lot of discussion about the batting and bowling combination of Team India. Former India opener Virender Sehwag believes that Rohit Sharma, Ishan Kishan, and KL Rahul should be selected as top-3 batsmen. Virat bats at number-3 in T20, so according to Sehwag, KL Rahul should come in terms of hitting Virat's number-3 position.

 

Regarding Team India's combination for the T20 World Cup, Sehwag said, 'India has many aggressive batsmen in T20, but I see Rohit Sharma, Ishan Kishan, and KL Rahul in the top-3 order. Rohit and Ishaan have a left-right combination and Ishaan and Rahul will also be a good pair in the T20 World Cup.

 

He heaped praise on fast bowler Umran Malik, saying that he too will be a part of the Indian attack along with Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Shami. He said, 'If any fast bowler has impressed me in the recent past, it is Umran Malik. He should be a part of the pace attack along with Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Shami.
