New Delhi, ANI. Coronavirus Cases In India, the number of corona virus cases in the country is increasing. According to the latest data of the Ministry of Health, more than 37 thousand cases have been reported in the country so far, while the death toll from Corona has also increased to more than 1200. According to the latest data from the Union Health Ministry, till Saturday (2 May) at 8 am, 37,336 cases of corona have been reported in the country. Of these, 26.167 people are being treated in the hospital, while 9950 people have been cured. The death toll from the corona in the country has risen to 1218.
Talking about the last 24 hours, a total of 2293 new cases have been reported across the country. During this period, 71 people have also died due to corona virus in different corners of the country. This is the highest number of new cases in a day.
Fastest growing cases in Maharashtra
The corona virus has the most havoc in Maharashtra. So far, 11,506 cases of corona virus have been reported in the state. At the same time, 1879 patients have recovered from this. Maharashtra has reported 485 deaths, followed by Gujarat with a total of 4721 cases, of which 735 have been cured, while 236 have died due to corona virus in the state. But so far, 3,738 patients of Corona have been reported in Delhi, out of which 1167 have been cured, the death toll in the state has reached 61.
After this, a total of 2719 cases have been reported in Madhya Pradesh. Out of this, 524 patients have been cured. 145 people have died due to corona virus in MP. Madhya Pradesh has the highest death toll after Maharashtra, Gujarat.
