While sentencing Mafia Mukhtar Ansari and his elder brother MP Afzal Ansari after being found guilty under the Gangster Act, the MP-MLA court judge referred to the story of Katha Samrat Munshi Premanchad, Bade Bhai Sahab. The judge told Afzal Ansari that two brothers are mentioned in the story of Munshi Premchand. While performing his duty, the elder brother inspires the younger brother to walk on the right path. But, Afzal Ansari did not do this.

The judge said that Afzal Ansari would have stopped Mukhtar Ansari when he first stepped into the world of crime. Perhaps Mukhtar would not have been in the world of crime. Rather, would have been an international player.

Mention of elder brother's story in court

Ghazipur's ADGC Criminal Neeraj Srivastava told that before pronouncing the verdict, the judge of the MP-MLA court mentioned the story of Bade Bhai Sahab. He then pronounced the sentence. What are the legal options for MP Afzal Ansari now?

On this question, ADGC Criminal Neeraj Srivastava said that Afzal Ansari's membership in Parliament will be lost. The people's representative who is punished with a sentence of more than two years loses his membership of Parliament or Legislative Assembly.
