There has been a decline in Coronavirus Updates in India again. Five days later, less than one thousand cases of corona have been registered in the country. The Health Ministry said that 861 cases of corona have been reported in the last 24 hours. Earlier on April 3, 913 cases of the corona were found and on April 4, 795 cases were found.

 

Active cases close to 11 thousand

 

The ministry said that in the last 24 hours, 929 patients of corona have also been cured. At the same time, a total of 6 patients have died during this period. Now the number of active patients in the country has come down to 11,058 while the death toll has reached 5,21,691. A total of 4,25,03,383 people have been cured of Corona so far.

 

Booster dose started on 18+

 

Meanwhile, in the country, booster doses have been started for people between 18 years and 59 years. Vaccine manufacturer Serum Institute of India has decided to provide its Kovidshield vaccine to private hospitals at Rs 225 per dose instead of Rs 600. At the same time, Bharat Biotech will also give booster doses of vaccine to private hospitals for Rs 225 instead of Rs 1,200.

 

More than 185.64 crore vaccines administered

 

So far more than 185.64 crore vaccines for corona have been given in the country. More than 99.49 crore people have taken the first dose. At the same time, more than 83.84-second doses have been given. About two and a half crore precaution doses have also been taken.

 

Uttar Pradesh is on top in terms of vaccination

 

Uttar Pradesh has got the maximum number of corona vaccines as compared to other states. According to the data released on Kovin's website, more than 30.46 crore doses have been given in UP. More than 16.83 crore people have been given the first dose. At the same time, more than 13.38 crore second doses have been applied. Meanwhile, more than 25 lakh precaution doses have also been applied.
