The 16th installment of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi will come into the bank accounts of farmers today. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will transfer the installment money to the bank accounts of the beneficiaries through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) at a function held in Yavatmal, Maharashtra. Earlier, the 15th installment was released on 15 November 2023. Today the Prime Minister will transfer an amount of approximately Rs 21 thousand crores to the bank accounts of eligible farmers across the country. It is noteworthy that one of the ambitious schemes of the Central Government is the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, which is run for the farmers. Under this scheme, farmers are given an installment of two thousand rupees three times a year.
Farmers have to keep some important things in mind to get benefits
Under PM Kisan Yojana, the installment of such farmers may get stuck whose Aadhaar card is not linked to their bank account. It is necessary to do this under the scheme, otherwise you may be deprived of the benefit of installment. After joining the scheme, farmers must get land verification done. If you have not got this work done, you may be deprived of the benefit of the installment. Under the rules, every farmer associated with the scheme must get this work done.
If you join PM Kisan Yojana, you have to fill out the application form. In such a situation, if there is any mistake in it, the name is entered wrong, the Aadhaar number is entered wrong or bank account information is entered wrong, etc. So even in such a situation, you may be deprived of the benefit of installment.
Beneficiary farmers across the country eagerly wait for this day. However, if for some reason you do not receive the message of installment receipt on your registered mobile number, then you can go to your nearest bank and make an entry in your passbook to know whether you have received the installment money or not.
