Patna, April 18 (IANS) The CPI-ML has decided to support Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) candidate Arvind Kejriwal who is contesting the Lok sabha polls against BJP's prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi in Varanasi in Uttar Pradesh.
"Our party would extend support to AAP's Kejriwal in Varanasi against Modi," CPI-ML general secretary Dipankar Bhattacharya said Friday.
Bhattacharya told IANS here that the Communist Party of India (Marxist-Leninist) had decided to support Kejriwal to ensure the defeat of Modi from Varanasi.
According to party leaders here, their cadres would work in Varanasi to expose Modi's communal face and his corporate-centric development in Gujarat.
